Sometimes the individual patient prefers a certain amount of information, guidance and discussion but would like for the family or support team to be able to better understand or research topics and questions in more detail. We aim initially to discuss you and what’s important to you as far as communication and information is concerned to enable you to digest and consider all aspects in the manner that you prefer and on your schedule. Sometimes an individual prefers to sit down in person with a physician in their own home or via teleconference or phone after normal business hours or over the weekend or urgently. We seek to tailor such discussion and followup in as relaxed of a manner as possible so as to help you make the most informed decisions possible.
